ADHP Graduate Information
Testing Information for Graduates:
ADHP graduates take ADEX exams administered by CDCA-WREB-CITA. ADEX exams are regional licensure exams administered to dental hygiene candidates across the nation. The first component is the SPTCE (simulated patient treatment clinical examination), which evaluates candidates on their clinical and judgement skills. The second component is the CSCE OSCE (computer simulated clinical examination), designed to assess various levels of diagnosis and treatment planning knowledge, skills, and abilities. ADHP graduates take the SPTCE over a 2-3 day period at UAB each June. Each student will schedule the OSCE exam on their own at a Prometric testing site of their choice on a day and time that works with their schedule. Prometric sites are in various parts of Alabama.
